Class: Tactical Radio 1 - $100

An introduction to Tactical Radio theory and application. This class is designed to teach someone with no radio experience the minimum necessary knowledge and skills to operate a hand-held radio in the most common tactical use cases such as establishing communications with others during an emergency, coordinating a small group in the field, and more.
The content covers basic radio theory, operating principles, and troubleshooting at a beginner level. A license is not required to attend the class but is required to fully participate in the field exercise that takes place after the class.
Class: Tactical Radio 2 - $200

An intermediate class that builds on Tactical Radio 1. This class is designed to teach someone who can reliably operate a hand-held analog radio the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate radios into a variety of tactical use cases by leveraging the appropriate equipment and TTPs.
The content covers in-depth radio operation, antenna and band selection, analog and digital modes, gear selection and integration based on use case, and more. A license is not required to attend the class but is required to fully participate in the field exercise that takes place after the class.

A field exercise that puts everything covered in Tactical Radio 1 into practice. Open to anyone that has taken the Tactical Radio 1 class within the last two years. A license is not required to attend the event but a GMRS or Amateur Radio license is required to operate a radio. A GMRS license is easy to purchase online ahead of time. Free loaner equipment is available on a first-come first-served basis.
